Indulge Yourself Event with Kira Archer

Kira Archer resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kiddos, and far too many animals in the house. She tends to laugh at inappropriate moments, break all the rules she gives her kids (but only when they aren’t looking), and would rather be reading a book than doing almost anything else. She has odd, eclectic tastes in just about everything and often lets her imagination run away with her. She loves her romances a little playful, a lot sexy, and always with a happily ever after.

Nothing is more indulgent for me than snuggling on the couch with a fluffy blanket, a big bowl of popcorn, and something binge-worthy on the TV. Lately, it’s been House Hunters International. I love to house hunt, kind of like large scale window shopping. And window shopping in other countries? The ultimate daydream indulgence! The house hunters drive me nuts with their (most likely scripted) nit-picking, but it’s so much fun daydreaming about moving to another country, either permanently or for an ultra-indulgent vacation home, and seeing what kinds of homes are available.

So, of course, with all this inspiration, I’ve got a Top 5 list of countries I’d love to move to if the opportunity ever arose.

1. Scotland – castles, gorgeous greenery, men in kilts ;-)

2. Italy – art and culture, rolling vineyards, Venetian canals

3. France – food, culture, history

4. Spain – color, more culture, incredible architecture

5. Australia – sun, sand, BBQ

With New Zealand, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and various tropical islands and countries as very close runner ups :-D

Have you ever thought of moving to another country? If so, where would you go? Tell me for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card!

Always the life of the party, Luca Vasilakis needs to prove he’s capable of taking over his father’s billion-dollar corporation. The perfect opportunity falls in his arms in the form of the reserved but sexy social worker Constance McMurty. What better way to improve his reputation than to get engaged to a do-gooder who is raising six orphans?

Constance wants nothing to do with Luca. But a poorly timed paparazzi photo lands her in the middle of a media nightmare, and Luca is her only way out. He proposes an idea that will help them both—be his fiancĂ©e to gain him some respectability and he’ll make a huge donation to her organization…and save her reputation.

But when their lie starts feeling like the truth, and the chemistry just won’t stop, they have a hard time separating what’s real and what’s fantasy…

  3. I lived in Argentina for a year. I have no strong desire to leave the US for a prolonged period of time, but Australia or New Zealand appeal for a long stay, more for traveling around than settling in one place.

  11. We briefly considered China when the kids were younger, partly motivated by the language benefit to them, but the challenge for us grownups, even having learned some of it when we were younger, is quite daunting!
